Well that's something different all together then. Unless you've declared yourself the sole authority on what's fun and what isn't, surely you have to acknowledge that people have different ideas of what's enjoyable. It has nothing to do with the way people handle their obligations, as you suggested.

I used to be entertainment manager for my community college so I have a general idea of whats fun, yeah.

With the preorder that Apple setup you select a time and there was a separate line for the preorders, Last year I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

If I decide to buy this release, this will be my method as well.

I am just going to set a alarm for 2:55 EST on Friday, get online, order one, then go back to bed.

Exactly what I did when I ordered my iPhone 6. I was up for 30 minutes to verify everything. Verizon shipped it the day before, and it arrived on release day.

Really? Some of you start bashing people who state that they have something better to do than standing half a day in front of a store instead of just picking it up elsewhere or getting it delivered to their door?

Wow, just wow.

That's really the best way to do it IMO, especially if you know exactly what you want.

When you queue up on launch day, there are no guarantees. If that particular store doesn't have the size/color/storage/carrier configuration that you want, too bad. You settle for something else or wait.

Well I am going to pre-order it and as long as I can get it day 1 I will not stand in line or I will be standing in line again.

I'm pretty sure there was only one person in this thread who bashed others for their preferences.

I have absolutely NO interest in standing in line for a phone or anything else! I have better things to do with my time!
