Let's be honest here. The way Apple has handled tablets under Tim Cook has been nothing short of embarrassing.
First of all, there should be one Apple Pencil that works on ALL iPads going forward. It should've been that way to begin with, but whatever, there's nothing that can be done about that now.
Second of all, the fragmentation is ridiculous. A lot of consumers aren't the most decisive people out there. Either make the iPad 13" or 9.7" -- not both, and get rid of the mini. I don't believe I've sold one iPad Mini in the two years I've worked for AT&T. The price of the mini doesn't even make sense, as it's too expensive for what you get.
Third, the colors are downright a joke. Pink? Blue? Yellow? Just make them in black or white.
Fourth, why does the latest iPad Air (2024) have a fingerprint reader, but not Face ID? Why not just get rid of the Air, make all of the iPads into Pros, and put both Face ID and under the screen touch ID on any iPad going forward?
Now we're hearing the iPad 11 might not have AI capabilities, which is the latest tech?.... I just have to LOL.
An iPad is literally a tablet that has the capabilities of a computer. It's not supposed to be $300. Anyone who wants an iPad should expect to pay $700 or more for it.
