Anyhoo, Im guessing ill be seeing quite a lot more from now on (especially as ill probably get one myself!). This to me doesn't seem such a bad thing though, as the more common they become, the less you stand out for having one, and as such the less you are likely to get mugged for using one
.
However, dont forget that in the uk at least, the price of the line rental for what you get is way above normal, and paying for the handset itself only reinforces this. My guess therefore is that it will attract many more people, it is afterall tempting me away from my blackberry! However paying £35 quid a month and buying the handset will put enough people off, as other nice phones are usually free and carry great line rental discounts (quite often as low as £15 a month) which im guessing will themselves prove to be too tempting to many.
