Does Pamela Anderson sleep on her back?

Ofc it will scratch! Unless it is diamond or sapphire glass it will scratch in day-to-day use 😛

The good thing with stainless steel is that it can be polished. Personally though, I steer clear of stainless steel because it does scratch easily and I do not want to polish it all of the time. Lol

The day you take it out of the box and snap on a hard plastic shell........it will probably scratch.

If you get it on without a scratch at the risk of stretching the shell to breaking point.......eventually grit will get under the shell and scratch it.

If you get an official leather Apple case the soft microfibre lining will help a lot......but the bottom of the phone is exposed which will scratch.

When you try and slot your iPhone X onto its dock and miss the hole.........the lightning plug will hit the stainless steel and it will scratch.

If you buy a leather slip case with soft microfibre lining.........it will eventually pick up grit and it will scratch from sliding the phone in and out.

Basically just looking at the iPhone X will result in tiny hairline scratches all over the stainless steel within a week......FACT.

People said that about the Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus and mine is in perfect condition, I don’t necessarily believe that it’s going to scratch like people are worrying over. Even if it does stainless steel scratches can be polished out (if not too deep)

Honestly, I think this is the best mentality to adopt. At the end of the day, the thing is an object and one way or another it's going to show signs of use. Cases and additional protective measures will of course minimize this but just like your shoes, you're going to see scratch here or there.

It's commendable but equally ridiculous to expect your phone to be pristine after months if not years of day to day use.

The stainless steel on the Silver scratches for sure. The demos I saw at the Apple store where scratched up after a day on display. Maybe the Space Grey fares better. I got the Silver... I’m also not good with scratches, so hopefully I didn’t make the wrong choice!

+1 for cape cod with the micro fibre towel, that took care or some fine scratches I got on the bezel of the X, then I put the phone into a case. It easy to scratch but also easy to fix.

Good to know. Everyone kept saying it would work but was skeptical since no one has tried it yet on their phone...until now

My iphone X just three days old and used for a short duration got scratches on bezels.. Really disappointed with such a costly phone.. Whereas my cousins note 8 has no scratches even after 2 months of usage without any case..
