The updated MBP 13" (mimicking the rMB) will probably replace the MBA? In that scenario we have 12", 13" and 15" laptops (if they remove the smallest MBA). But - like you - i would not cry if they re-made the line with a 12", 14" and 16" laptop series.

I think that 16" is totally dreaming. It really depends on what they do with MBA. With the lack of a retina screen it really seems like the MBA line is the odd man out, doesn't it? I can see Apple keeping a very simple line-up of the 12" rMB, 13" rMBP, and the 15" rMBP and keeping the MBA line and 13" cMBP as poor step children who do not get upgraded and then eventually disappear. Apple has been doing the same with the iMac, now all of the iMacs are either 4K or 5K with only a couple of inexpensive, non-4K or 5K iMacs that have not been updated.

I really don't need CPU or GPU power that much. I watch some movies, surf and do my usual work on my rMBP (programming). None of that requires better cpu/gpu. I like rMB, but it's simply too small for me and my habits. I would be all over 14 version, but somehow I doubt that we will ever see one.
