While I realize that nobody can really say for sure, either because they just don't know, or an NDA prevents it, but I'm wondering about your thoughts on if we should see a large number of new apps showing up in the store when 3.0 makes it way out the door.

Can I assume the developers NDA gets lifted when 3.0 ships?

I've been thinking of this as well. I'm guessing yes, and hoping yes.

The 3.0 apps are already tickling out right now. I downloaded 3.0 updates for PCalc, Amazon, some other apps that I can't remember.

Considering Apple's slow approval rate, not all updates will be out at same time but we may see a major increase of updates than average this month.

I haven't had an update for any apps in a couple of weeks except for the Ambiance app. I expect we'll see some updates, especially for AIM and BeeJive, tomorrow.

Could Apple already have these apps approved and are just holding them for when the update is released?

Hmm that's what I was thinking...

Aren't there any developers out there who've been working with 3.0 who can tell us if they've already submitted their 3.0 apps to Apple?

I've been checking the App Store since I upgraded to 3.0, I'm guessing they won't show up till the official launch. I'm hoping all my major apps get updated (Tweetie, AIM, Facebook, sports, Textfree)

Yes. That's probably what they have done for apps like AIM and BeeJive. I am almost certain they will be out for the 3.0 launch tomorrow.

Ive been in contact with the makers of g-map and they say that it's already submitted and plan on having it come out when 3.0 comes out. Yay! 😀
