Will there be a flood of 3.0 apps on launch?

So do the alerts actually work for Textfree when you get an SMS? Sound, notification and badge?

haven't tried it, on the other hand i just opened itunes and got a message saying 8 new updates available....looks like things are starting to roll out

had a few updates that included 3.0 tested on them, the 3.0 software hasn't been released here in the UK yet.

It all works, sound, badge, and if your iPhone is locked, you get a notification box just as if it was coming through the regular message app. I'll post a screenshot of it if one of you fine folks can let me know how. (Seriously, I'm new here, and I see where I can add an attachment at the bottom of the message, but then how do you choose a file from your iPhone camera library? Can't figure out that part.)

Not all of us have bought Textfree Unlimited. There is no update available for Textfree Lite.

I had a bunch of App updates yesterday and the "New in this version:" said "compatibility with 3.0 firmware"

I would love to see news push alerts that have the option to set it to "major Breaking News only."

Also, it would be cool if the stock market App could send me a notification if the markets surge or plummet more than a certain percentage.
