If you have unlimited data now and upgrade to an LTE device at the two year contract price, you can keep your unlimited data. At some point this summer that option will be eliminated.

You will be able to keep your unlimited data plan indefinitely as long as you either a.) remain with your current device or b.) purchase your future devices at full retail price.
 
ROFL, did you even read my post? i was RIGHT not wrong. You can only get a subsidized phone and not lose unlimited up until verizon changes over to the new shared data plans. Since it is rumored to happen this summer and the next iphone is rumored to come out in the fall, if you do nothing and try to upgrade to the iphone in the fall you will lose your unlimited.

Anyone have any updates on Verizon's new data share plans? It seems like there was a lot of talk about this for a couple days, and then it just went completely silent.
