Will uMBP ever switch graphics cards w/o logout?

I'm not sure if this has been addressed, but I have searched.

My primary concern is whether or not uMBP users will ever be able to switch the graphics cards without logging out every time? I remember hearing that it was a software issue, does that mean that it might be supported in Snow Leopard?

Apple has not made mention of this with Snow Leopard. My guess is that you still will have to log-out for switching between graphic cards.

damn...that sucks. I was really hoping that they would change it, it gets really annoying having to log out to change cards.

Honestly and yeah I know there's really no point of this for most users but I was hoping Snow Leopard would allow for both cards to be used at once.

Honestly, I have no reason for this but it would be cool for whatever reason.
