I don't know if Apple has truly stated, but will we be able to shower with our Apple Watches on or is that out of the question?

It's IPX7 resistant, which is the same as phones such as the Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z3. (Minus the dust resistance, hence the X). This means that you can submerge it under 1 metre of water for up to half an hour. A shower would be absolutely fine.

I wish Apple would officially say yes or no then, I'd think most people would wear them in the shower ( great time to clean our white sports bands to lol )

Yes but I expect that if something went wrong you would use up one of your AppleCare+ replacements to get it fixed.

I actually don't think it would. They have a water resistant claim. If you are within those specs it should be covered under the manufacture warranty.

Edit: Julien beat me to it.

Water resistant or not, the last thing I want is soap and crap getting all up in the grooves of the digital crown and all the other nooks and crannies.

I don't want to sound mean. But why would anyone want to do this? Do you have to remain connected even when you're washing up for ten minutes? Just seems so pointless IMHO. I'm trying to understand who would do this, but it goes against common sense. I'm always amazed at some of the crazy things people try lol

Not a matter of being connected in the shower, but sometimes it's convient to just jump in and not have to remove your watch, etc. not wanting to use but but if you haven't on, just a pains to remove it evey day
