Bring your $400+ electronic watch with a non screw down crown in a steamy shower and expose it to high pressure water streams and various soaps.

What could go wrong!

Unless Tim Cook showers in cold, low pressure water and doesn't use any soap - probably nothing.
However, that 'probably' is enough to make me wait a couple of months before leaving it on my wrist in the shower, just to see if those who do, start reporting water damage to the watches. If there's not a significant number of watches being damaged I'll take the risk and rely on applecare+ if the worst happens.

I don't understand the fascination with showering while wearing an Apple Watch. What are you trying to do in there? Take five minutes off technology and relax for a bit without Twitter notifications. Plus you're going to be charging it overnight, so...

At any rate, probably the most incredibly rude thing you can do in response to someone asking about how to do something or if it can be done is to question their desire to do it at all. You clearly don't have an actual answer so it's best to just move along. Instead you sound like a thoughtless jerk to anyone who sees the answer to this question as obvious.

And it doesn't seem to matter how many times the question is responded too, within a couple of comments someone will ask almost exactly the same thing all over again!

I wish Apple would officially say yes or no then, I'd think most people would wear them in the shower ( great time to clean our white sports bands to lol )

i've never worn my watch in the shower.... and it's safe to 200 meters with a screw down crown...

i don't plan to wear my apple watch in the shower...
