have the "smudge proof" invisishield and am really not liking it. The Matte finish screen protectors in my opinion do detract from the phones screen, going to be getting the hd one that should do it.

Got Spigen Sgp UltraClear. All of the people tried out my i5 did not know it got screen protector on. They thought it's bared glass.:D

Phone screens are "scratch RESISTANCE" not "scratch PROOF", so screen protector is a must if you hate scratches; even Gorilla Glass got scratched.

Never been a fan personally, with that being said. For the time being I do have a Zagg Invisibleshield HD installed and its practically not there which is awesome

Zagg HD is great. My combo is Zagg HD for the front and regular Zagg for the back because I like the stickiness on the back for better grip.

Yes. With a good screen protector, clarity is still great and you don't have to worry about scratches. I picked up a Zagg, but am waiting for the Caudabe Shield when it comes out for the 5. Worked great on my 4S. They actually accidentally shipped two with my order, lol.

Interesting take...how do you feel it ruins the experience for you? I've put full body on my 4, 4S and now my 5 and have never had a problem with a difference in "feel" between before and after. Granted, I never used the 5 before putting the kit on, so can't comment on that one. But the 4 and 4S felt no different to me.

Of course, everyone is different.

It's just never as the same feel as naked glass. Plus I don't like the way it looks. It also has a tendacy to change the visual quality of the display. Lots of my friends do it, but I just like the feel of naked glass. I am very careful with my stuff but some of my friends just beat the teeth out of their phones, so for them it's probably a good idea.
