Just wondering what others will be doing, I honestly don't know if I can get it the morning of launch, but go figure it will be out of stock most likely later that night when I have a chance to go get it.
 
I'm going to Pre-Order or order though ATT's Website as I don't live near an Apple store and hope it get's there the day of launch.
 
I wait in line for sneakers, you'd be sure I will wait in line for the iPhone. I've done that for the previous iPhone launches and met some great people.
 
No because that's asininely ridiculous. Seriously, it's a phone. Don't get me wrong, I love my 3G and will most likely get the 4G/whatever its called...but waiting in line from some crazy hour in the morning? I don't have work to do, but i can find something better to do. Like sleeping.
 
More than likely I will be working on launch day but, i get the feeling i'll have to wait in line regardless of what day i make my purchase.

Ditto here. I'm not going to rush into a contract with AT&T (and their $375 ETF). I'll sit and watch on the sidelines until I know which carriers will be getting the iPhone soon.
 
Yep. This will be my first time buying an iPhone on its release date. But, if needed, I'll just have it pre-ordered and shipped to me.
 
I did that two years ago for the 3G. NEVER AGAIN.... 🙄 I will prolly pre-order online. It was a better experience for the 3GS:apple:😀

Well, if launch rolls around and all we have are the current weak rumors....I may do it and hope that selling the new phone would cover the cost of the ETF if I did jump to Verizon later.
 
It obviously depends on when it is releasing, but if I'm not doing anything, I'll totally go and stand in line. I wish Apple did midnight launches because nothing is more fun for a nerd than midnight launches. 😀

Yeah, it varies from store to store. Luckily for me, the closest store to me is very calm and works out well if you get there about an hour before opening.
