Who here is going to try a new bumper instead of a case for their new iPhone 4, once they get it?

I think the white iPhone looks cool with a black bumper as shown in some pics, but I really want to see a black iPhone with a white bumper.

I think the bumper is cool because it will protect the phone, but it won't hide the design. $30 for them seems excessive though. But I'm not sure how well it will actually protect the phone, now that I think about it. I think it's just for looks.

What color iPhone are you getting, and what color bumper will you be putting on it, if any?

Maybe. I know I'll be applying a Best Skins Ever or Wrapsol, possibly a bumper for when I'm out or at the gym.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

For sure, looks good and i like the idea, rather than a full case. Only thing that might hold me back from getting one is the price though. Hopefully it's not too expensive.

Ordered the invisible shield today.. Once I get my iPhone 4 and get that installed, I will see how I feel about it being protected. Then I will make my decision. I will be getting a black if I do get it.

I might, if it has a "lay on the table" design, just to hold me over until something legit comes out. Also depends on how easily the back of the phone scratches. I'd rather go naked but I like to keep my stuff pristine.

Yep. Black phone, orange bumper is my pick also.

This, all day long. I have to see/feel it first, because I keep my phone in my pocket and won't buy it if it's too "grabby" - I want the phone to slide in and out easily (that sounded wrong, LOL). I'm not worred about my phone scratching from normal use, but I do worry about it sliding on the counter, etc and this will keep the glass just off the surface.

They look like arse! Mabe a very thin lexan one would be ok, Think I might get a cool leather one this time. I am tired of l=plastic and rubber.

Glass/ stainless/ leather= cool!
