I'm wondering who will keep it on. I don't really like it on Apple Watch and I don't want my screen on my iPhone on the whole time (even if at low brightness) I rather get extra battery by disabling it.
It’s my favorite feature of the Apple Watch! I love that I can just glance at the watch and see the time. To me before that update the Apple Watch was terrible at being a watch.I'm wondering who will keep it on. Good idea — if not now, I’m sure eventually tied to focus modes.Fingers crossed apple will let us schedule the AOD.
If it’s in a pocket/bag or turned face down, AOD is disabled automatically. So how will AOD work with the iPhone in your pocket, or in a bag? Will barely touching it force it to wake up? Will it wake up from being moved around or with movement? I know this question probably can’t be answered yet since we don’t have the new iPhone. I suppose we will find out. I’ll leave mine off if it becomes a nuisance
Basically the sensors in the pill shape trigger disabling AOD. If you cover the pill with your finger AOD turns off, mimicking being in your pocket or turned on its face.If it’s in a pocket/bag or turned face down, AOD is disabled automatically.
