Will You Ever Pre-Order from AT&T Again?

Yes. They're order status is a bit vague, but they managed to get my 4S to me by 3PM on the 14th even though I ordered four hours after the "cut-off" time.

If I have to, sure why not. Every year I've pre-ordered an iPhone and have never been able to get through on Apple so I end up ordering with AT&T and luckily I've received my phone on its launch day each time, so yeah I would.

I ordered my 4S through ATT.
My sister ordered hers through Apple.

We live in the same house, and mine came way earlier than hers.

I usually order through Apple but this time I was having problem with apple verifying my account because I have premier account. So I ordered through ATT and everything went smoothly. They waived the activation fee, and I was able to activate my service online in less than 2 mins. So overall I am happy.

Wow, this is amazing -

Having 10 people out of 100 not pre-ordering again reveals a problem.
Having 50 people out of 100 not pre-ordering again reveals, a large problem.

I pre-ordered mine Friday morn 7:05e time.
After having no tracking all week, and getting 10 different answers from 10 different reps, I made one last call at 4pm yesterday.

I told them I just got off the phone with mu CC people, and if they can't tell me where my phone is, I'm going to do a "charge back" then leave them for Verizon.

Lo and behold, the guy mysteriously had a tracking within 5 minutes, (after NOT having one like all the other csr all day and all week). I asked him, "what, you hit the refresh button and it just magically showed up?" - "pretty much" he said.

So I am getting my phone today instead of yesterday, (which is better than all the in-store pre-order people that they screwed), but will never do this again.

I sure hope that it doesn't happen next year to the people who voted that they would indeed pre-order again from ATT. That would be a crying shame.

Not likely. I would not have an iPhone today if I had stuck with my pre-order. Instead spent an hour on the phone fighting with ATT to cancel it as it was in stock in my local store with no line but back ordered online. Next time I'll just grab from a store.
