I had no problems with three excellent coverage here in Manchester.
To be honest no other network have unlimited data on 4G.
Each month I use around 90gb no problems all for £22.
Wow that's a lot lol
Hmmm heard three ain't great in London and EE is the better option

All used on Netflix streaming Unlimited settings Youtube,Tuneinradio and Now TV.
I cannot say much about three speeds in London but heard alot of congestion issue problems on three main facebook page.
EE Much better speeds in the London area but I really dislike EE pricing plans.
No EE Sim deal can ever match my 3 sim only contracts.
I do pay for 3 sim only contracts on three all for £40.
Sim One Essential plan 4GB data Unlimited text and minutes £9 (iPhone 6)
Sim Two Essential plan 4GB data Unlimited text and minutes £9 (iPhone 6 Plus)
Sim Three Advanced plan Unlimited data Unlimited text and 200 minutes £22 (Galaxy s8)

Thank you all for your responses! Reflecting more on this I know I'll pay the 1256 or whatever it ends up being. With the knowledge that my iPhone 6 lasted 3 years and this new one will be a great replacement and last me at least that long. Hopefully it has a A10X or A11 professor and it super fast. It would be almost as powerful as the first gen Macbook Air's haha. :D

Well I hope all my iPhone wishes come true at a cheaper price but not likely. ha!

I will if my dad pays for most of it :D

In all reality, since I plan to get a new phone every two years, I can't see paying that much for something that I replace that often. But I've also discovered that 32 GB isn't really enough space. So not sure what I'll do. I'm still probably going with the "7S" and I'll hope it's cheaper.

Oh wow

I'm actually at uni so I have a Unidays account giving me 20% off a mobile/sim only contract so basically I can get 20GB data with unlimited texts and calls for £16.80 or 25gb data for £21 (that's with the 20% discount included)
With three I can get 30gb data, unlimited texts and calls for £20 so similar price to EE.....I was debating which to go for....

Btw how you finding the galaxy S8? That's another debate I'm having about wether to opt for the galaxy S8 plus or iPhone 7plus....

Get your three sim Existing Customer for £18 here 30gb data, unlimited texts and calls
http://www.three.co.uk/existing-customer-offers/sim-plans-for-phones?campaign=exc with unlimited binge streaming too.
Don't forget Quidco or Topcashback too

Galaxy s8 is great you better off waiting to end of September for cheaper Galaxy s8 prices or iPhone 7 prices.

True haha
But isn't EE much better than three? Would rather have the better network if it means paying more...
Did you buy your galaxy outright?

Sure, don’t see why not. I paid close to that for my 7 Plus. And for those saying buy a MacBook Pro for that, I think there’s much more advanced technology in the new iPhone and I’ll get more use out of it. And for the cheaper phones, none of them are better for a device I’m going to keep on me at all times.

In the past I would have absolutely paid that much for an iPhone. But now I think my price point is around $650-700. My 7 is bent and I could pay Apple $319 to replace it but I'm just going to use it until the new phones are out and then decide what I'll do. But I definitely won't be spending $1,000+ on a phone.

I personally won't pay that much.
The reason for me is that these mobile computers are so advanced that I'm going to start getting the previous year model.
My 6 plus is now almost 3 years young and still working great. I'm also one that still only needs 64G and my phone is a little over half full. I did buy my wife her first iPhone last Christmas. The 7 plus and she really loves it. When she wants to spend a grand, I'll just take her phone.

There was an article on CNBC.com discussing whether people would be willing to pay 1k+ for the new iPhone. Generally people wouldn't. Everyone on average wants to pay 500-600 for an iPhone.

BUT as Mac enthusiasts and sometimes early adopters, would you pay 1k+ for the new iPhone?

I'm thinking that the all front touch screen, 128gb memory, and without accessories will be 1k. BUT the premium model with 256 gb memory and accessories (case) will put you at closer to 1,256.

Are you willing to pay that? I'm trying to budget and figure this question out myself. I did just buy the iPad Pro and am only using it as an iPad (but occasionally using it as a laptop'ish device).

Thoughts, feelings, emotions? What price would be too high? What price would make you buy one outright?

I'm thinking 1k puts it in the right spot for me on the 256gb memory and a case. But if its 1200 for a case and memory, I'm going to rethink it. I do want more than 128gb of memory. I currently have iPhone 6 at 64gb of memory and always out of space with music. :(
I would only pay $100-200 more that the 7S Plus for the 8/Pro. Otherwise, I am opting for the 7S Plus if it's more than that.

An iPhone that costs $1000-$1200 is simply not competitive in the market. Given that the Galaxy S8 has the same design, similar internals, the same camera, same build quality, etc., how can Apple justify that price when the S8 cost $725 at launch, and now can be had for under $600?

The internals and design are vastly different. The internals of the iPhone are cutting edge tech. L-shaped battery and multi-layer logic board have not been done in a mass market smartphone. Moreover, the screen to face ratio is the highest yet.

As far as being competitive, you're right, it's tough, but it simply won't matter. Apple will still sell out of them for like 6 months.

Some products are sold better when they are expensive....

and i don't belong to that class so.... Xiaomi 4100 mh battery here we come! mmm

That may be, but they also have to worry about how it makes the 7S and 7S+ look. I know people hate Samsung comparisons, but.... the S8 went bezel-less on their mainstream phone. The 7S is going to be priced the same, but have the same screen and form factor as the year before, and the year before that.

Yes but only because it will be a claimed expense. Out of pocket, I don't understand how people voluntarily pay that much for a phone.

Maybe I'm alone in my thinking but I think Apple is charging way too much for the phones now.

I normally upgrade every two years, but if Apple comes out with an iPhone 8 that costs $1K+ for the 32 GB large-screen model and has no Touch ID, it will be time to seriously reconsider. I'm still on iOS 9 on my iPhone 6s Plus, nothing wrong with it, so updating to iOS 10 (or 11) and getting a new case should make it feel like a whole new device.

My iPhone 6s is certainly more powerful than the first-gen Airs. It's a considerable amount of power we have in our pocket nowadays, and the Airs weren't great performers even when new nine years ago. ;)

Being hyped for the iPhone 8 and in need of a new iPhone, yes I would pay 1k for it.

Judging by recent leaks that we had on MacRumors and throughout the web, I would justify the price that Apple will assign to it.

For us iPhone lover, I think this will be a good release being that a new design is going to be implemented thus refreshing the line.
