I posted this on another thread, but this might be a better place for it. CNET describes what may be included in this rumored tablet. Very vague, but interesting. And the fact that the other manufacturers have put next-gen netbook production on hold until Apple unveils their product is a very interesting development that I haven't seen before.

Pre-order? Nay, but I'll keep a close eye on it. It has to really blow me out of the water, on to land, and back into the water with a new pair of shoes before I bend over for this one, if it even happens.

I have absolutely zero interest in a tablet. So would not purchase or preorder.

Only thing I am waiting for is a 15" matte MBP. Until then, nothing else I am itching to get.

Seriously, I completely agree with Duff-Man. How can one determine if they are going to purchased a device, let alone pre-order, when we don't know for sure if it will come to fruition? Since it doesn't exist, and we don't know what it will be, do, or the specs, this thread seems pointless.
