I will for multiple email signatures, activator and My3G (is what comes top of mind)
No, well maybe for quickreply
reasons I can't post here mostly
also is Sbsettings in the IOS5 (called something else obviously)
No, SBSettings has not been replaced by anything in iOS5. We have drop down notifications, but you can't actually modify settings like wifi or tethering or anything.
With mywi no longer needed ,
and having never used the unlock
it's not worth the security risk and hassles to jailbreak anymore.
also forgot to mention, springtomoize is pretty handy too, I love being able to turn backgrounding off and controlling what gets run in the background myself.
also Ifile is nice!
IF they can produce a stable JB that preserves baseband on iOS 5 (without issues like the one signal bar/ultrasn0w fix on 4.3.3) and IF iOS 5 doesn't majorly slow things down on the iPhone 4, then yes, I'll upgrade and JB to get bite, SBSettings, and FolderEnhancer.
But I'll keep running 4.2.1 pretty happily if that doesn't come to pass. There's not much on 5 that's compelling to me, and NOTHING on it is compelling enough to run it stock.
and folder enhancer...
Winterboard along with a custom theme. And of course SBSettings
Would be interesting to see what the jailbreaks and theme creators can do with the new lockscreen, can't wait to get my hands on iOS 5
Why is mywi no longer needed?
That's the main reason I jailbreak my iPhone.
MyWi is no longer needed if you are using a provider that allows you to access the Personal Hotspot feature on your iPhone 4.
Not all cell phone providers allow the Personal Hotspot features, some carriers require you to have a specific plan before you can use it.
If you have a 3GS then Personal Hotspot is disabled and your only option is MyWi or the other Wifi tethering jailbreaks out there.
and you want to pay that provider whatever it is they charge a month, whch is BS if you can still JB and use mywi!
BiteSMS, SMS Google Voice integration
mywi won't be needed the days carriers stop thinking its okay to charge for smartphone data and then additionally to use the data. If i pay for 2 gb of data for my iPhone, i should be able to use it with my iPad.
quickreply and probably winterboard just because I hate the default SMS theme ever since trying roundsquare
Sbsettings, bitesms, activator, facebreak, tetherme and others....
Probably not. I have two main reasons my phone is jailbroken, better notifications and QuickReply. All of the other stuff is just icing on the cake that I can live without. Though even that iOS 5 doesn't include quick reply I still probably won't jailbreak it.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)
AppSync, Installous so I can make a backup copy of my purchased apps.
biteSMS , SBsettings, safari download manager, iFile...
Why would you need to do that? It implies you never paid for them, to be honest.
I will need it for installous and pirating as much stuff as I can get my hands on and monitoring my wife's phones secretly when shes out.
Yes, so I can unlock.
