Are you upgrading to OS 4? I already did using the Beta 1 and it's pretty usable and no lag (iPhone 3Gs & iPod 64GB)

well if the rumors are true and the next iphone will have camera flash, then yes i will.

i only have an iphone 3g, so the iphone OS 4.0 does nothing for me.

Yes, I will. My wife is using an original iPhone and I use a Motorola Q9h. We will both upgrade when the new iPhone is announced.

I'll be buying the new phone this year, so yes, I'll be getting it.

I'm also planning on upgrading my 3G to 4.0 before I give the phone to my mother-in-law. She'll never know one way or the other and I figure whatever features it does bring her are better than nothing.

Unless your name the Spaz, you'll probably upgrade.

If I'm still on the iPhone, I'll upgrade (I'm playing with the Nexus One)

If they can work out the glitches that have been reported so far, yes, definitely (even though on my 3G, I'd be without certain key features of the upgrade). I don't have any doubt that Apple will fix those glitches, so yes I will be upgrading. Most likely.

OS 4 isn't that big of a deal in beta at the moment. I've been messing around with it. I suppose I'll suspend judgment until the official release though.

Multitasking is retarded in this form...

Mind me correcting myself and others?

OS 4 has been jailbroken already. Dev Team keeps under wraps (just like Apple secrecy) the new bugs and exploits they find. Pay off is that now, we have a working OS 4 jailbreak.

That would be great. Then I could get my jailbroken apps back. I sold my 3G and bought a 3GS on ebay that was already updated to 3.1.3.

I'm definitely downloading the new OS. I'm waiting to see the new phone to determine if I upgrade hardware too.

I'm not for my current devices. I don't really like the changes. I'm only gonna get 4.x and beyond for the new iPhone in June. So I'm gonna keep my devices:

1st gen iPod Touch: 2.x
iPhone 3G: 3.x
New iPhone: 4.x and beyond.
