will you upgrade to iPhone 5 if the design & screen size stays the same? Or is the A5 cpu n 8mpx camera enough?

plz vote

I never planned on getting it no matter what it is. I'm waiting for the iPhone 6.5S3D as I hear it'll make tea and cookies!

Well the design and screen size, won't stay the same. It'll be an all new design. But for the sake of your post, i'll still be upgrading because i have an iPhone 3G.

If it's just a chip and camera update, I won't burn my upgrade on a "refresh". 3GS will hold out until next release. If not, prolly an HTC model.

WHy wouldn't i upgrade? I can sell my iPhone 4 on Ebay for more than the $199 it cost for me to upgrade, so what is the downside to upgrading?

I have upgraded each year so far and have always been able to sell my existing iPhone for enough to cover the cost of upgrading.

+1

Though to be honest, my wife inherited my 3GS.... :)

It will have to be a huge upgrade to get me to move from my 4. My contract will be up in December so I'll go to a £15 sim only contract.

Maybe if we're lucky they won't make our iPhone 4's virtually useless with the new OS update so we're not forced to buy the new phone..

Not like that happened with my 3G or anything...

I can't imagine that the internal upgrade wouldn't be incentive enough to upgrade. So even if the form factor remains the same, I'd still upgrade.

It's hard for me because my wife is going to inherit my iPhone 4, so I'll have to wait and see.

Coming from a launch day 2009 3GS which, although it still works as it should, is showing signs of its age and isn't exactly "fast" by today's standards, YES.

That said, given that I skipped the 4 (had early upgrade option when it launched, but I passed) because of things I didn't like about it, I surely HOPE they at least do some things differently. I was not a fan of the glass/metal build or of the antenna issue. I also concur that the screen needs to be bigger than 3.5".

So yes, eagerly awaiting the iPhone 5.

Oh I'll upgrade alright. To a Nexus Prime.

Okay I can't say it for certain, but I really don't see myself buying another iPhone with this tiny screen.

My Infuse has spoiled me
