Sure will. I will miss the scroll bars though, I don't see why they would remove them altogether without an option to enable them. That and the fact that Save/versions features will always open documents I've been working on that I closed intentionally can be annoying. The rest is all good though :)

You can have the scroll bars back if you want to.

Yes.

Mainly because I just purchased a new MBP and my wife a MBA and we will both get free upgrades. So, why not?

I don't think I will spend the $30 as I don't really need any of the features offered. Maybe I will change my mind though once I see it in action real time somewhere.

Why not? I'm most excited for Versions.

You know that the only program that currently works with Version is Textedit, right? iWork will also get updated to work with versions, but for me and many others I am sure, Versions means nothing till MS Office supports it.

Definitely a no brainer! If I only had a desktop I might not upgrade right away, but Lion seems made for a MBP. I'm looking forward to using it on this thing. And since I hate inconsistency, I will upgrade my desktop at the same time.

Yes, the full screen app and easy switching is worth $30 to me. I hate to have to go through expose to switch windows.

I'll be upgrading to Lion for sure a.s.a.p. I'm not too worry about the early bugs that I'll most likely come across. I started using macs hard core when leopard came out. The upgrade from leopard to snow leopard was awesome imo. I expect nothing less from the upgrade to lion.

I probably upgrade at some point, but I will wait to see how well it works.
I want to know first how battery life goes before I upgrade. If it is less I might hold off for a while. The features I already know about wouldn't make me switch.

Yep, on day 1(*), screw the possibility of bugs.

(*) Actually, more like day 2 (or 3?) due to sllllooooowwww internet connection.

They still have a month to before Lion is available. Plenty of time.

I will likely upgrade because I can't see any reason why not. Improved and new features. The only thing I'd like to see improved in OS X is the OpenGL support and maybe TRIM support for SSDs regardless of make.

I run a few 3D apps so an upgrade to OpenGL 3.2/3 would work give me a fair performance boost.
