I'm thinking I'm going to upgrade to the white 4S, and I can see a few reasons why I'd use it, but I'm wondering if most people think they will actually use this or not. And when I say use, I mean for the long haul. Not just to try it out.
 
Definitely. It has so many more uses than the standard voice control you see on any other phone. I'll probably use it a lot.
 
Siri would be 75% of the reason I'm getting the new 4S. Being able to use my iPhone in the car is very important to me. Plus, Siri is like a database...very nice and will be useful.
 
Siri can help me access many features of iPhone, definitely gonna use it.

Then again i bet there will be a jailbreak to make it work on the 4, however slowly...


then again again I may be buying an S2 or a Prime so........

Siri: Okay, I'll do that.
Me: Make reminder for wedding anniversary.
Siri: Okay I'll do that.

Makes men's lives a lot easier.

Apparently it can't work on older devices. I read a tweet earlier somewhere from some jailbreaking master guy.
 
For sure, especially notes, writing emails and text messages!. Of course this is assuming it works well. If it doesn't, then no I won't use it.
 
Ask this same question about 6 months from now in the past tense, and the results will be a LOT differrent. ;)

Texting/"reading" texts while I'm in the car primarily, but I would use it even more if I were able to read webpages and Twitter feeds to me.
 
Nope, I said this earlier as well. I don't think I'll be using a whole lot. That upgrade wasn't I would use. I'll keep my 3GS and wait for the 5.
 
If I used it in public I would probably get my asskicked/laughed at depending on the location. The only places I would use this is at home or in the car. Besides, I can picture a situation where I would want to send an inappropriate text to Yenissa (my girlfriend) and it got sent to Jenissa (my boss)...
