Windows gaming problem

    So i just bought a copy of windows 7 to start bootcamp, also a copy of Medieval
    total war and i went though all the install process on Medieval total war and then it quits due to a "un specified problem".Please help i don't know what that means.

    what system do you have? have you updated the graphics drivers?

    I've installed Medieval Total War I and II under Windows XP under Boot Camp, and both ran with no problems. I've found the installation process under Windows to be fairly straightforward. A few steps for you:
    1. If you're running a stolen copy of Window or Medieval Total War, you'll need to go elsewhere;

    2. Have you verified that Windows 7 actually works? Test a few other programs in Windows 7 after booting into it using Boot Camp.

    3. Reinstall MTW, watch the messages and see if it reports any problems.

    Anyone know if Total War:Midevil even runs on Win7? It's pretty old, the game that is.
