Another option is HamachiX, I've been using this to connect my Mac and my Mom's Mac to help her out. However, I've had to continuously "Install System Components" inside Hamachi in order to get the underlying processes running right???? Haven't looked into this too much, as to the root cause.

MacForMe,

Did you ever find anything to help with the HamachiX problem you stated? I always have to Instally System Components with every reboot of Leopard too. I am too new to figure it out at this point, but I would be willing to help.... Hopefully someone has a fix....

Sorry, I haven't figured out how to get MacRumors to mail me when there a followup to a post I've replied on... :)

So, I seem to have to do one of two things for HamachiX:
1) Upon starting the application, go to:
Help -> System Support -> Install System Components
Help -> System Support -> Reset Background Process

2) Before shutting down HamachiX it does seem to help if I use "Logout" button first.

I think its a use model thing, and I think #1 above has more to do with it than anything.

I think you can also do most of this from the command line (Terminal).
just type hamachi and you'll see some help.
So for me, it was:
hamachi start
hamachi login
hamachi list

I just downloaded ultra vnc for a windows box and used the built in screen sharing in leopard. It works very well.

Yeah... Everyone: Drop RDC and go with VNC! It is sooooo much better in so many ways. More versatile too.
