Windows with Bootcamp and Parallelsm on iMac?

If you set up boot camp with run windows and then also want to run windows with parallel, do you need two licenses of Windows to do this? Or can both programs access the same instance of Windows?

what u need to do is install windows on bootcamp first. Then install Parallels and use the bootcamp option.

After you have Windows installed and running in Boot Camp, create a new virtual machine (VM) in Parallels. There's an option to use a Boot Camp installation as a source for the VM. I think it's pretty much automated, from that point on.
