I can't get the Keyboard part.

5.Extract AppleKeyboardInstaller64.exe to a folder on your PC..
Then goto..
Device Manager>Human Interface Devices>update driver>no not this time>install from a list>
Select the AppleKeyboardInstaller64.exe that you unrared
When updating driver you must select the option to HAVE DISC for the installation.

You will need to check the driver id to find which driver requires installing

6th down/4th up from bottom>update driver>no not this time>next>install from a list or specified location>dont search i will choose the driver to install

QuintonM,

I'm running an apple monitor on XP64 on a PC. I can use brightness controls with win764/vista64 but when I install the boot camp control panel (hacked or official) on XP64 I get this error:

"An error occurred while trying to access the startup disk settings.

You may not have privileges to change the startup disk. Make sure you have administrative privileges and try again."

I am logged in as an admin. I think it has something to do with the control panel not being able to find a Mac Disk in the system so it won't load. Any ideas on a way to adjust the brightness? Registry edit perhaps?

thanks a lot for the detailed howto

it works real well
the only issue im having is that whenever i try to install hacked bootcamp i get an unexpected error with a 2229 code.

so im unable to use properly the keyboard.

and in fact not even input remapper is working. so if anyone has any pointer would be great

you can solve this problem by modifying your language (in preferences - country) to "English (US)". Hereafter you continue installing. At the end you should reset the language to your own. See also http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1869470
