Hey im new to SSH. I got the basics down now. As far as i understand you have to put everything in winterboard theme folder. I got the SBSettings to work and etc. My question is how some of you talk about replacing an icon like only one icon or many icons. How do you do that, what format does the image have to be in? For example say i want to change the "Phone" icon on the iphone 4, how would i do it through ssh?? Obv i would need a phone icone image, but what format? An where should i SSH it too? Thanks for helping out guys!

Okay, well I have better things to do with my time than to rename files one by one... hence why "Winterboard doesn't work" ... just like if you buy a car and it doesn't work but you rebuild the engine and make it work it didn't mean the car worked... tell ya what... re-tool winterboard, and all of the 10,000+ themes in the repos, then let us know and then you can take the hero title and then "Winterboard will be 4.0 compatible" ... but until then stop spreading false information saying it works, because people use winterboard to download and apply a theme and many have been stated to screw up the display so it's not legible to even be able to deactivate the theme, thus causing that user the trouble of restoring and starting over...

Why, this poster was trying to help. Apparently your opinion of how well Winterboard works and his opinion are just different.

The easiest way to clear the icon cache without actually going into your phone and deleting things is to enable summerboard mode respring then disable summerboard mode and respring.

I'm looking for a little help with the iNzoSB theme. I've SSH'ed the files onto my phone, but the .pngs remain grayed out. The theme shows up on sbsettings, but every time I select it it says it's missing the .pngs. Thanks!

I am using a theme I found on Cydia called Classica 3 and it's designed for Retina, I think it looks great. The slightly modified icons give it a nice little sharp touch over the stock Apple theme.

Hi there,

I downloaded Classica as it was MMI's theme of the week. I used Diskaid to copy the .theme into root of /Library/Themes but the theme doesn't show up on winterboard, any suggestions?

Thanks for the classica suggestion. Downloaded it from Cydia tonight. Wish the text wasn't so light, but its not a problem if I use a darker background wallpaper
