Yep, my June issue was removed with the update, and it wanted me to pay for it to re-download it. I just deleted the App and left a very scathing review.

Did you by any chance changed your login by your email address, while your previous login was something else?

I had a FREE .Mac username, which Apple gave us with the purchase of a PowerBook, and lately they FORCED me to start logging in with my email address, which NEVER WAS the .mac account, BECAUSE THERE'S NO .MAC EMAIL, JUST A USERNAME…

Now I'm charged for EVERY app I downloaded before.

They made ONE exeption, and terminated the communication, giving me the legal dept link.

I sent a SCREENSHOT of my two bills, showing same email, street address, name, etc… and they replied "you have two accounts".

Multiply that for all the free .mac usernames they gave away and didn't convert into a subscription purchase… and you'll get the picture of the rip off.

Any updates or new developments regarding this? The same thing is happening to me. Bought the June issue of Wired ("Toy Story" characters on the cover). Apple sent me a receipt showing I paid $3.99.

Went back to read the magazine, and it's asking me to buy it again.
