Mine came in the mail today!

First impressions:

It was a VERY tight fit getting the iQi in the lighting connector port...but once it was in everything works great! I have it installed on my iPhone 5 with a LifeProof Nuud case and I LOVE IT!!! :D

It charges a little slower compared to using a wall charger, but it's actually faster than charging over standard USB (like when connected to a computer).

Does this thing allow for standard syncing with the lightning cable or is wifi sync the only way to sync the iPhone with your computer?

@pooleman Yeah unfortunately WiFi syncing is the only way with the iQi...otherwise you need to take it off first. It works for me though because I've been syncing over WiFi for awhile now anyway :)

Got mine today and I have to say that using both receivers and 2 different charging pucks I have found the iQi system to be very unreliable. It has yet to charge for more the 25 minutes without stopping and it is getting very hot.

Currently my 5s is sitting on a puck with the receiver installed, light on the puck changed to indicate charging and nothing is happening.

Not impressed so far.

I had a similar issue at first. Try REALLY pushing the iQi deep into the lightning port...it was tighter and went way deeper than I thought it would/needed to be. The installation video on the <fonesalesman website> says to "push it in with your fingernail" but my thicker fingers and shorter nails could not push it in far enough. Using the corner of a credit card to push it in the rest of the way finally worked for me.

So it's still working well for me. I do get the "accessory may not be supported" message once it reaches 100% charged, but it's really not that big of a deal since it still charges fine lol :)

I found that with just the right placement on the KoolPuck it seems to charge at an optimally fast rate, and doesn't get hot at all. This "sweet spot" seems to be between 1/2 and 2/3 of the way down the phone, as opposed to having the phone sit on it perfectly in the middle.

Nice :) They said they are making some "improvements" to the next batch of orders going out in January so that's cool!

I just contributed for the $65 Mobile Charge Bundle (iQi mobile, koolpuck charger, soft clear case) with delivery January 2014. I read at indiegogo.com that a lot of people having problems and it's good to know they're improving it. I hope I get the new batch.

I'm in the January delivery group and am anxiously awaiting mine. I have my Nexus 7 charging via a Nokia DT-900 Qi charger, and it works great. I can't wait to try this.

I got mine last week. I did follow the suggestion on the iQi website that suggests you use the tip of a credit card to fit it snugly inside your iPhone. Once I did that, it worked fine.

I'm using it with my Nokia dt-900 that I already owned. I'll agree with a previous poster that you have to find the best position for charging. Mine seems to love being upside down and hanging off a tiny bit, but charges nicely. Seems fast.

I'm using my Apple leather case, and I do notice a little tiny bulge towards the bottom of the case, but it's no big deal and to be expected.
