I'm contemplating upgrading my V-MODA M100 for their Crossfade Wireless model instead.

Really wish the W1 chip wasn't just for apple and beats.

I upgraded from the M100's to the Crossfade Wireless and I highly recommended it. I also added the XL pads and now I can listen for multiple ours without issue. I'm not sure why the need for the W1 chip. I power on any of my bluetooth headphones and they pair without issue...maybe there's something I'm missing about it in the details.

Ease of connection is one, but the seamless transition from watch, to phone, to ipad, to computer is the main thing I want.

For iPhone users - can anyone compare the real-world usage of some if not all of these:

Bose QC35
Sony MDR-1000X
Sennheiser Momentum 2 NC Wireless Over-ear
Sennheiser PXC-550 Wireless
B&W P7 Wireless

Any other wireless over-ears (NC optional)?

Comfort, sound quality, build quality, wireless connection, battery life, interoperability with multiple devices, etc.

I picked up the Bose QC35 at an Apple Store. Picked it up primarily because I'm traveling a lot recently. Lovely set of cans. The noise cancellation is second to none from what I've experienced. Having it go full on wireless is also really nice. Battery life has been solid. Can't imagine the hassle of living with the Air Pods five hour battery life.

I'm also interested to know this. What to upgrade from Sony MDR-10RBT that I am using at work daily. Great can, very comfortable and not too expensive but there is some background hissing sound when the phone is connected but no audio is played.

Also if anyone can comment on these:
- Bang & Olufsen BEOPLAY H7
- Master & Dynamic MW60

This is going to sound a bit like an advert for M&D...

I had the H7's and sold them to buy the MW60's. Both are great, but the MW60s are just more fun. The H7s feel accurate, but that gives them a slightly thinner, less rounded sound - for reference, classical etc that's slightly better, but for everything, the MW60s are a better listen.

The H7s have issues with dropout as well, which the MW60s do not. Build quality on both sets is superb - H7's slightly more comfortable as they are lighter - the M&D's are heavy, as they are steel, aluminium and leather, but I can wear either for hours. H7s have a replaceable battery, which for me is moot; the battery life on the MW60s is at least as good as the 16 hrs quoted, and they sound more or less exactly the same cabled as wireless.

They're an investment - but they will last for a very long time. I had to use M&D's customer support when I lost a cable - asked them to provide cost of a repair and they just sent me a new set. Nothing but good things to say about that experience.

Two issues with the MW60:
No W1 chip, which would be amazing
they are SO pretty that you may find yourself babying them a bit. I can't just throw them in my bag - they need to go in the case when they're not being used, or the gunmetal finish WILL scratch. Beats Solo2 (and now the Solo3, which I'm trying to talk myself out of for the battery life and cross-device working), which are underrated in my view, invite you to just sling them in your bag (but don't sit on them or I can confirm they will snap).

I love my Momentum 2 cans. Ive had them side by side with the Bose QC35s and I would say the Bose set has better noise cancelling but the Momentums just sound better in my opinion. Both are equally as comfy to my ears too.
I concur. I've worn headphones professionally 8-10 hours a day for the past 25 years. These Momentum Wireless AEBT's are the best sounding wireless headphones I've ever heard. I also have the Bose QC25's and I like them for what they are, simply the best ANC headphone available to consumers. If you travel a lot, commute on noisy public transportation or work/live in a noisy environment and need nearly total sound isolation, then the Bose are for you as they are extremely light (mostly plastic) very comfortable (soft plush ear pads), and do the best job of shutting down outside noise (but IMO, it does interfere with the quality of the music). If you are looking for the best sounding, most feature packed (APT-X, NFC, BT 4.0, solid ANC and a built in DAC for digital play over USB, [use wired powered, wired passive, wireless, and as stated, play digitally over USB]), well built wireless BT headphones available (quality plush leather and stainless steel), then the Momentum AEBT's are the best choice, especially since I see them now for $379 (even as low as $349), you simply cannot beat them for the SQ, outstanding build and materials/design, and feature set they offer...just my opinion of course (I also use/own the Momentum 1 (wired) "On-Ear" in Piano Black, and I love them as well. Same outstanding build/materials/design, very comfortable, with a bit more bass than the AEBT's, but outstanding mobile sound signature of it's own and very efficient as these things play LOUD!). I've used Sennheiser headphones most of my career as a professional broadcaster, producer and editor, they've never failed to live up to and even exceed my highest expectations. Their Momentum wireless line continues that for me.

How is the bluetooth connection on the Momentums?
The Bose QC35's has worse connectivity than sport wireless buds, it cuts off at 7-8 metres whereas the Jlabs cutoff at 10m or so.
