I use my macbook to connect my xbox360 to live. I use an ethernet cable to connect to my xbox360 to my macbook. Then the macbook connects to my WRT56G wireless router and I'm on live, this worked perfectly. I didn't have to buy the Microsoft USB adapter. I haven't tried this setup with my new AEBS yet; I'm sure it will work fine.

Draft?

So, these routers that have draft N - will they be compatible when the N is finalized? Kind of a gray area for me...

Netopia 3387WG-ENT. Mostly for the built-in VPN server allows me to connect to my home network from the road via PPTP and keep a dedicated connection to my clients through router-to-router IPSec connections.

This router only does 802.11g, but we don't have any 802.11n-capable portable devices in the house anyway.

Just returned my D-Link DIR-655 and got myself a Time Capsule. I always wanted one so I just decided to screw it and get it and now I'm totally satisfied 🙂 Took about 20 hours to backup both my iMac and Macbook wirelessly but it never failed 😀 I'm loving my Time Capsule.

For some reason the Time Capsule has a more consistent stable fast speed than the D-Link 🙄 Maybe I am just imagining things.

I have a Time Capsule for what it's worth.

It has issues with the default host (DMZ) setting, but other than that, it works fine.

WRT54GS v2 here flashed with hyperwrt. Never an issue. I use this with an :apple:TV and stream everything. I bought it off ebay for $45 shipped with the high gain antennas after a lightning strike at our house took it out. Couldn't be happier.

I use WRT54G. I know it's not the greatest, but no other router allowed 2 xbox 360s online at the same time.
