Wow, are those horror stories typical? They took all four of mine out at once, and I sat on the couch for 2 days eating soup and yogurt and popping vicodin... after that, back to normal.

My mouth was seriously puffed up more than any picture I've seen online, and is still incredibly puffed up on one side. No pain, so I'm going to school tomorrow, though.

I have no idea what's typical, but I couldn't open my mouth for about two weeks. My wife, on the other hand, sat around for a day and was fine the next. I assume it is related to how difficult the extraction was.
