What I'm wondering is that not everyone has 1 toilet per person, how will it work in a household?

Don't want my GF period's ****ing my pee stats :( lol

Since it connects (I assume) via Bluetooth, so long as you have your phone with you when you visit the toilet, it should be able to figure out who the “user” is based on proximity?

The same way a Tesla knows who’s driving when you use your phone as a key.

cheaper to go get a uranalysis at your doctors...just tell your doc you want one and no appointment necessary....just piss in a bottle and leave it in the restroom..done

corrrect.
i can't be bothered to go to the actual website for this product.,
but all of the devices similar to this use your app in your phone or watch either through bluetooth, or, face ID. some of these devices have a wall device that authenticates who you are with a finger print.

i used withings weight scales until nokia bought them out.
after nokia sold the trashed withings brand back to the original withings folks i began to use their health app.
but i found the insights from the withings health app to be without much useful information and overpriced.
i just don't think the withings company has invested enough in patents and medical research to be able to provide any useful insights. their benefit is negligible. and products overpriced.
and certainly wouldn't trust the device mentioned in this article to be accurate or useful.

i do use omron. for both weight scale / body scan, and, their blood pressure monitor. both store data in apple's Health app and in omron's very good health app.
Highly recommend Garmin scales as a Withings replacement. Also if you've got a Garmin sports watch then it integrates very well with that - and with Apple Health.
