Wives getting Apple Watches first?

Lol, how many of you are in the same boat as me:

2:03am: I order a 42mm Sport Space Grey which has yet to be charged or shipped.

2:04am: I order a 38mm Sport w/ white band for my wife which was charged and "prepared for shipment" yesterday.

So it looks like my wife will be getting her watch before I do on launch day, haha. I am the Apple fanatic of our relationship, she does enjoy Apple products but doesn't really care too much. However she is more excited about the Apple Watch than any other Apple product launch to date, so I guess that worked out well!
 
I am getting mine before my husband. I told him to get all his billing and shipping information in the night before but he didn't listen. So 3 in the morning, he was asking me what my job address was so it could be delivered there and he took too long and it slipped to 4-6 weeks.

haha, maybe that is my payback. Nobody will believe me but I had just figured the space gray 42mm would be immensely more popular of an order than the 38mm white so I wanted to get that order in first.
 
I ordered my fiancee's 38mm sport first, followed immediately by my 42mm sport.

Mine is preparing for shipment, hers hasn't hit my credit card yet and is still processing.

I'm sure it will work out, but Friday is her birthday and I would rather hers show up if only one makes it on Friday.

At least I think I would. Kind of. Maybe.
 
Same here. Both my emails are 3:05 but I ordered my wife's first.

Her's is preparing for shipment. No movement on mine yet. :(
 
In my case, I'm the wife and I did the ordering. I ordered my watch, 42mm white sport, at 3:02 and his watch, 42mm SG, at 3:03. Mine is preparing for shipment.

However, he has a business trip abroad and is leaving very early on the 24th so wouldn't be able to take his watch with him anyway. It would have been fun for him to use the watch for his boarding pass on launch day!
 
Exact same situation as the op. I told her that I was going to wear hers until mine showed up, and we haven't been the same since (Joke. Just jokes.)
 
I ordered the same setup for my wife and I. I ordered mine first but yes, I asked in advance if that would be OK. Both are shipping thank goodness but I was quick with the order. I had both in favorites and paid with ApplePay so I was done with both orders within the first minute of availability.

If mine came first and hers was delayed I would have hid mine away until hers made it and open them on the same day. There have been few things we both ordered this way so I don't know that she would have been upset but since we talked in advance about the orders I would have waited.

For the record, like someone above, based on my reading here I assumed the 42 Sport SG would be more popular than the 38 Sport White so I adjusted my order for which went first.
 
Same with me. Ordered my 42mm first and her 38mm second. Hers has been charged and ready to ship. Mine shows no change in status.
 
I'm in the same boat - ordered my SG Sport 42mm at 1:03 and haven't seen any change in status or been billed.

She ordered her 38mm Sport at 1:10 and our card has been charged.
 
Yeah, I think its mostly due to guys wanting black and ladies not. I'm a nice guy and did order my wife's first. But I don't think that affected anything. My wife isn't as nice. She said if mine comes first, she's going to hide it. She's so nice. :)

In the past, she's also sent me pictures of the new iWhatever while I'm at work and she's home playing with it.

That would be an excruciating picture to receive! Ha, you should sign up for UPS My Choice and have those delivered to your closest UPS store to be picked up.
 
Same boat here. I ordered both of ours and mine is preparing for shipment while my husbands (42 SG) is stuck processing. He's fairly convincing that it doesn't matter to him *that much*.
 
I almost had to beg the wife to let me buy her one. After seeing some of the videos she agreed and is now a little excited. Ordered mine (3:03), then hers(3:04), then 2 sport bands(3:08).

My 42mm SS Classic Black Buckle was charged and preparing for shipment yesterday. :D

Wife's 38mm SS Maleness Loop is still processing. :eek:
 
Yep, I'm in that boat except I'm the wife and I did the ordering. I ordered my husband's 42MM SG sport before mine and my 38MM white sport after his and his is still processing and mine is preparing to be shipped. He's okay with it for now ... he has a Pebble to keep him occupied. But, I have a feeling if I get mine this Friday he'll be a little bit jealous.
 
I wonder if this has more to do with the type of watch husbands have ordered. It seems like they haven't quite processed orders for space gray ones yet. My husband and I have the same thing going on. Mine is preparing for shipment (white sport) and his is still processing (space gray sport). I noticed another thread talking about the space gray sport watches having not been processed yet.

I'm the wife and I did the ordering. I ordered my husband's first. They were only a minute apart, so I doubt it's even relevant. That said, neither have charged yet, even though they were ordered at 12:06 and 12:07 Pacific. ;)

If he gets his first, I won't mind. It's an anniversary gift.

I'm hoping this is the case, or the already shipped a bunch of SG Sports to distribution facilities knowing it would be a popular choice. I have seen some SG Sports get 'Preparing for shipment' notices but they were all ordered within the first two minutes it seems.
 
My wife is getting hers first.

38mm Milanese Loop - have been charged and she has the 4/24 - 5/8 shipping date. It was ordered 2 minutes after mine (I guess my payback as well)

My 42mm Space Black SS is in the 5/13 - 5/27 delivery window and I have not been charged yet. So, I am not holding my breath for Friday.
 
Wife and I are both SS with Black Sports band, just different sizes. Both ordered in first three minutes, but no activity of either.
 
I've yet to see anyone that ordered a SG and another watch have both gone to preparing to ship even if ordered earlier than others with preparing to ship that just ordered one watch that is SG.

If my wife get her's first then I'll definitely be playing with it. Ha.
