I'm loving my Apple Watch a lot more than I thought I would. My 6+ is too big for my pocket so I leave it in my purse or on my nightstand if I'm at home. Usually I just tell people I don't take calls or messages when I'm home. I'm usually running around the house or doing things with the kids. Now I can actually take calls and check emails. With my watch, my I hardly use my phone anymore.

It's been great.

I love it precisely because now I don't have to worry about dragging my phone from room to room any more. I usually park the phone in the kitchen and leave it on silent. My watch taps me whenever I have an incoming call or text. I'm getting pretty adept at dictating texts while I go grab my phone or iPad. We have a pretty large house, but I don't get out of range very often.

I have complained for years that unlike men's clothes, women's clothes don't always come with pockets. (WTH not?!) So if I happen to be wearing something without pockets, phone goes in purse. I wore a dress today - no pockets. I never even thought about taking my iPhone out of my purse because everything was coming straight to my wrist! I didn't even have to take the phone out when I went to Starbucks. Just used Passbook right on my watch. :D

These are the exact reasons I spent all that money for an Apple Watch. And it's been great. I have an iPhone 6 Plus and it's in my purse or my work bag. And during work hours, it's on vibrate. If I don't have it sitting right in front of me, I miss calls. When I return home, I put it on the charger but I often forget to turn it on "ring", and then when I'm away from my desk, I miss calls and texts.

Well, no more. The Watch works exactly as described for me.

I think women should get a watch because you stash your phones in your pockets and purse. It's very convenient to access without whipping out your stashed phone. I really think it's a must for new moms who have their hands full with their babies/kids. You will never miss a call or notification when you're tending to your babies/kids needs. Just my 2 cents...

I haven't got mine yet but my husband has his. We have a 5 month old at home. My husband said having the watch is much easier to answers texts when holding the baby. I'll have to see for myself, but I'm sure he is right. And I know that I am constantly leaving my phone in another room or in my purse because my jean pockets are so damn small. Part of the reason I loved my Fitbit (which the band just started breaking) was because of the call notification feature). But that was limited because it was Bluetooth only. So if this has a wider range with wifi, I will love it even more. I think your wife would love it too! I know that I hate feeling my purse vibrate, having to grab it and check, only to find out the message didn't require a response.
