Argh - this is driving me nuts! All over a flipping phone....we all must be mad.

I keep refreshing my browser, willing the text to change from In Progress to Completed.....sad, that is me.

Click the order number and see what it says inside...

Do you mean that when you check the main 'track your order' page is says in progress but when you clik tyhe order number it gives the DHL shipment number?

Still waiting :( Phoned O2 and despite ordering it at 8.10am, and despite them yesterday telling me I had been allocated one, they now tell me they "have no idea when they will be getting more stock in" and that I should just go to an O2 store! Laughable. Glad some of you are getting yours though.

Can't see how they can take our money and then not complete the order, most people are saying if you have an order number then you'll be fine

new customer 16gb about 0915 to 0930

This is frustrating I ordered the same at 9:15am and mine is still in progress. I've also been told that I won't get one Friday!!!!

WHY!!! WHY!!! :(

Mine has been shipped too! I don't know how they are going to guarantee it won't be delivered before Friday as I send with DHL every day, and they have never, ever, taken more than a day to deliver to UK. It costs them more money to hang on to stuff, so even when you choose economy 3-4 day delivery, it still always get's there the next day.

In my O2 also, I have a phone number!
 
I received dispatched email, upgrading on 35 per month tariff and ordered the 16GB in black :)

I ordered the 16GB before all you lot who have them confirmed shipped, so I'm feeling a bit :( at the moment.

I called as I got my order number through today from the failover page (worked at some point during the day) the guy at the other end was nice about it but said they didn't have a lot of stock and to keep checking and phone back tonight before they close. At that point you can cancel and go to the shop if you prefer.

To be honest I don't know why I bothered phoning as I don't think they have a clue and are just saying anything to get rid of people.
 
have been reading this site for most of the day now and am getting more frustrated as the day goes on with the times that people ordered and the times they got a shipping number, it wouldn't be too bad if they hadn't take the money without even a confirmation of order, I did order the 16GB at about 08:20-08:25 and have nothing other than an order number that is in progress, hopefully I will hear something soon and the rest of you will aswell

My order 001323XXX is still in progress and was submitted at 08:35

Based on the order numbers the number of iphone sold are not so huge as o2 says. There are orders 20 minutes earlier than mine with less that 1000 number difference.

Some other one hour late are a little above 1000.

Tell me about it - it wouldn't be quite so bad if 02 hadn't made such a point about 1st come, 1st served. Assuming that order numbers are sequential that certainly isn't the case!!

What's worse is that my rubbish online banking often doesn't show payments until a couple of days after the event so I don't know if they've taken my money or not - I hope so.

I ordered at 08:09 for a 16Gb - still showing as in progress on O2

and they are working backwards to 8.38am


Anygot any more straws for me to clutch at? (it's an iStraw then I'll buy @ twice the price for less straws)
 
I doubt it's alphabetical, as my surname begins with W, and I doubt it's time related, as mine was ordered about 13:30...

I reckon they're just chucking some balls into a massive, massive hat and taking them out that way.

Surname begins with "H" ordered 12.40 and still "in progress", guess if its not updated this time tomorrow then its a no for Friday me thinks.
