no i'm only 16 and I'm not gonna spend all my money on a pro so I'm gonna get it with a goverment discount for 1400 and then the money I have left I'll get an external monitor with DVI and maybe a wireless mouse and wireless keyboard! I get it on the 20th I can't wait!
Good idea. Save up and when you're ready for college, buy the mbp. You'll really appreciate it then
Please tell me you're going to get a BA in Criminal Justice first. If you get that degree you'll have an easier time gettting promoted and making more money. With just an academy education, you'll find it hard to get the better salary and you'll be passed up for promotions.
I think the OP made the right choice with the blackbook. He'll get a lot of good use out of it. A good friend of mine has had the original core duo macbook for quite a while and it has done absolutely everything she needed (including playing WoW decently at low settings.) So enjoy your new toy.

No your go to state police academy to train to become a state police officer in trenton NJ. I didn't know it was a degree! LOL. i can't wait it feels so far away. Everyone of my friends said I put too many exclamation points!!! sorry its a habit lol. I'll post my black macbook when I get it.
Right, you'll still have to go to training, but after you finish getting a BA. I've talked to a few ex-police officers, and they swear that getting that degree really helps you earn more and move up faster. With just the training, you're going to be stuck in one place for a long time.
My dad has been a state police for 20 years.(5 years 2 go for him!) He knows how the state picks its officers. I can get any different degree for state police it doesn't have to be a BA. I'm just saying my dad didin't go to college(didn't have to back in 84 to become state police now you do) and he's making 120K which isn't bad for not going to college. Hopefully I can do the same!
