I have a little 2002 Holden Astra, I have to fill it up about 2-3 times a month costing around $100. Damn those high oil prices!
you think you have it bad with that, cost of fuel here in the UK is scary , my mrs drives around a crappy 1.2 corsa and it takes £40 a week to fill that up

£160 =around $280 a month in petrol(Gas)

I do a lot of highway driving and I get ~17.4MPG on average. That's piss poor considering I live 30+ miles from where I work.

quit complaining!!

you can:

1) get a new job closer to home
2) win the lotto or grow a money tree
3) invade an oil rich country

oh wait, #3 has already been done

Which does NOT include any or all of the following:
1) rear wing
2) coffee can exhaust (or an old dead muffler, with the same sound)
3) "eurotail" tail/brake lights
4) LED washer fluid nozzles
5) huge air dam for the front, side skirts for the side or
6) something resembling a diffuser on the back
If I find any evidence of you putting any of those on your car, hcuar, I will personally confiscate it, and leave you with my 94 Corsica, which needs a fill every 6 days, and takes most of my paycheck to get to school every week.

lol... :D :D :D Don't worry... I'm keeping it factory.

edit: Hmm... seems to be growing list... I'm considering putting an Apple sticker on it somewhere... Where would you guys suggest? Where'd you put yours iGary? (assuming you have one on your Civic)

Good. Counterfit failed to mention that, if you were found guilty, you would be forced to endure severe ridicule by tying you to a flagpole in the town square, all while the townspeople stand around and laugh in your general direction.

What's up, Australians, Western and Northern Europeans, and New Zealanders! Gas is cheap in the U.S.! I drive around an 8 cylinder Mustang that gets 11 miles a gallon on the street! And only (really) holds 2 people.

Cheers!

7) So much camber it appears that the wheels are about to break off.
8) Expensive 18" rims on the back, rusty old 13" steel rims on the front

28) a turbo boost gauge even though there is no turbo.
29) an audio system that meets or exceeds the value of the car.
30) Fake blue xenon headlamps.

This list could go on forever......

Aww, you're not on my ignore list (I don't even know how to do that  ).

I was just going from iSaint's above mine cuz I'm lazy.

Who said that?

;)

edit - ooh 31) racing car seats with the proper red racing seatbelts. Which you then don't wear, because you is street, man.

32) A black hood, meant to resemble a carbon-fiber hood, that's really just hastily painted with flat-black engine block primer.

Perhaps the most egregious example of a "wing"

I've got a 98 Civic 2 dr and there's an Apple sticker on each of the back windows. It looks pretty good that way. I had thought about putting them on the rear window, but it didn't have the same effect.

Maybe you wanna, y'know, lower it a bit and add some stylin'
