I ordered a black iPhone 16 Pro Silicone case. What have you noticed different with your non-official case(s) from Woot, other than the packaging?

I'm skeptical that they'd be knockoffs, but we'll see after I get the case. I'd guess that the part of the case that works with Camera Control would be most likely to not work as well if it weren't an official case.
In addition to the packaging differences (look for the addition of some non-English verbiage on the back), for about half the cases, the MagSafe animation doesn't show on the phone when you put on the case.

Mine wast just delivered. It is brand new, not a seconds, or a knock off.

Put it in a drawer to replace my current case when it eventually peels.

Not really happy of the steep discount just a couple days after buying a case that was just released.

This appears to be a new trend with apple in just the last couple of years. It used to take 6 months before we saw discounts on anything. Now, day 1 purchasers are basically punished for being enthusiastic about the product and buying them up before the planned discounts.

It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but I will take it into consideration for next time, and probably won’t be a Day One purchaser for a while.
I also just bought a case from Apple. There is a 14 day return window. So I returned my case and bought one of these from Woot.

Here you go. Woot case on the left.
Where’s the one on the right from.

I’ve bought over a dozen cases directly from Apple and they never have non-English writing on the bottom half of the packaging. Yet the ones from AliExpress (fakes) and Woot do.

That’s what I received from Apple via FedEx on 9/18.

The case I bought directly from Apple last year, packaging looks exactly like that pic. Is legit

I got my Woot.com iPhone 16 case Wednesday, and it's working perfectly. Does the MagSafe animation, seems 100% legit. My box looks just like the one pictured.

Woot is legit.
