does it have zero movement on the flipbelt while running? I saw that not too long ago and pretty interested in it.

No movement at all. The belt is pretty stretchy so it fits the 6+ fine. That said it is a bit tight in there which just makes it more secure I think, but you don't want to keep getting the phone in and out, especially while running.

no issues with mine moving around. I bought a large at a local REI (I have a 35-36" waist) but switched out for an XL for a more comfortable fit.

I don't go on runs as often as I used to, but when I'm lifting weights, I just set it down next to me (not in any place where I may drop the weight on it, however). I'm currently using a Pelican Protector with an anti-glare screen protector. I also kind of wrap my towel around it to avoid water spills lol.

Speaking of which, does anyone know of any sort of waterproof/drop-proof "lock-boxes" for the 6 Plus? I know OtterBox makes some, but any others?

flipbelt was the solution for me. I've used both a 6 and 6+ in it and it makes running and working out very easy. The 6+ with a good gripping case can take 15-20 seconds to get it in the belt but it still fits just fine. Just make sure you know what you want to listen to when you start so that you don't have to take the phone in and out.

^^Totally agree with this. I just got my flipbelt on Monday. I have a case on my 6 plus. I really have to work it to get it in. That thing is NOT coming out!!

I went from a 5 to a 6+. I had an armband for my 5 for when I went jogging and it was borderline too cumbersome for me. Although they are out there, I could not imagine an armband with my 6+. So I "downgraded" to my iPod Shuffle for my jogging. I will miss the Runtastic app I used to use though.

The flipbelt does look interesting. I may have to check that out.

I have a few jogging tops by Nike and Under Armor that have a zip pocket in the back hip/A** portion to put your device. Then I connect my wireless headphones.

In the gym, I'll do the same or if I have a bag, I'll lock or put it beside me and lift with the same connection.

I leave my 6 Plus at home when I go jogging. But I'm hoping Nike or some other company will come out with an armband for it in the future if I absolutely need to have my phone on me.

How do 6 Plus owners go running with their phones? What about lifting weights?

I haven't gotten mine yet and am curious as to the answers.

I take a vigorous 3 mile walk every day with the phone in my pocket supplying music. That's sufficient exercise for me.

I think there was another thread with this same question, and someone recommended a little pouch (kind of a fanny pack) for running. Anyone have the link to that? Can't seem to find it.. it wasn't the flip belt.

I just bought one of these in black to hold my 6+ http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005OVQQBM?sn=email&vs=1&vs=1

When I run with it I just hold it. I am 6' 2" so it isn't that hard for me to hold onto it while I run.

While I am in the gym it is usually sitting next to my water bottle. I use bluetooth headphones so I don't keep my phone in my pocket in the gym. So far I have absolutely no problems in the gym or running with my iPhone 6 Plus.

Then you're not pushing yourself at all... I couldn't imagine running with a phablet - I had trouble running with the old iPhone 3g when I first got it. Unless maybe you don't sweat at all, but all that moisture alone from your hands should set off the water damage sensor - it would for me for sure.

You'd need some sort of ridiculous arm strap if you want to have the 6+ on you while working out, (and even then I'd say it's not worth it, as one wrong move, or someone bumps into you with a weight, and that screen is shattered).

Bluetooth headphones probably your best bet if you have to make it work I guess - I just use my shuffle for going to the gym though, no worries that way.

How about those biking shirts that have a tight pouch built into the back? Might work for some and they are meant to be a workout shirt.

I run 4-5 miles at an 8 minute 30 second mile pace. (I am not the fastest runner in the world by any means but I push myself fairly hard). I had been training for a Tough Mudder that I just completed this past weekend in Dallas.
Yes my hands sweat but not enough where I worry about setting off the water damage sensor. I am not saying that holding it is the most practical solution while running but I found it better than having it my pocket while it bounces around or trying to have it in an arm band.

This is complete BS. Just because you have a problem holding a device while running doesn't mean everyone will. Not everyone drips at the hands either. I don't. I'm an avid runner and have been holding my iPhone's while running since I can remember.

I'm no speed demon but I have a fair share of half marathons under 2 hours holding my 5 and 5s just fine.

In fact, just completed a 5 mile run with my 6+ in hand yesterday. When you're in the zone and comfortable with holding a device, it becomes a non issue.

If you hate running, then I'm sure holding a phone... Or anything really will bother the S... Out of you.

I haven't worked out with mine and while I do have BT headphones, I am also considering an iPod shuffle for the gym since I don't think I really need any tracking data while I work out.

I bought an arm band on amazon for my 6+. I went for a test run of about 10 mile and it was great. I didn't noticed it at all over my 5s. If you have worn an armband in the past I don't think the bigger one is an issue. I am not a tall guy either. I do think it may be harder for women or guys with really small arms.

i worked out yesterday and it was mostly fine. i rode the stationary bike for a while and just laid the phone on the book/tablet-resting edge thing. the only spot that i was worried about was when i was using the leg-press. i had the phone in my pocket. it didn't fall out but i felt like it was about to. i'll just put it on the ground next to me when i do something like that where the pocket hole is aimed at the ground.

After way too much time researching when I probably should have been working, I settled on the following combo which I think is perfect for my active lifestyle and my 6+.

Spibelt large pocket belt

And the Sony SBH20 bluetooth headset so theres no wires coming out of the spibelt

I just got the SBH20 yesterday and it sounds pretty darn good with my iPhone 5. Not audiophile quality but DEFINITELY good enough for working out. Plus you can use it with your favorite headphones/earbuds and it doubles as an audio transmitter if you want to connect it with an AUX cable to a stereo system. Hopefully it sounds better with my 6+ when it arrives (today, yeah!). Id say this was $60 well spent.

I have no problems running with my 6 plus or lifting weights. I have the Apple leather case and it helps give it a better grip. The 6 plus is the only phone I have preferred having a case on as I think it is the most slippery phone I've ever owned. Don't worry about the 6 plus bending I have had the 6 plus in my front pocket and there have been no issues.
