Hi,

I am wondering if anybody experiences workout badges from AW missing once you upgrade to iOS 12. I have had the public beta installed on my iPad Pro for a while and I did not experience a lot of major issues with it. Last night, I decided to do install it on my iPhone X. I did not count how many workout badges I had on my iOS 11, but I noticed that at least two workout badges were missing (one for limited edition 2018 Earth Challenge) and the other for December 2017 monthly challenge after I had iOS 12 installed. I worked hard to earn my badges so I had to spend many more hours last night downgrading my phone to iOS 11. Luckily, I backed up everything to my laptop and I get all of my badges back.

Just curious if this one will get fixed or I will lose them for good once the official iOS 12 is out in September. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

When you first do an update it often take a couple of days for them to populate.
Thanks for your insight. Does that mean that you did have some badges missing initially and now all of them are back? I will give it a try later when I have some free hours. Re-installing everything took a lot of my energy!

Still two of my badges have not shown up yet (Earth Day 2018 and December 2017 Challenge - I burned more calories than the previous month) since Friday. I like to think they are out there, but not shown up. When I went back to iOS 11, they came back. Maybe one of these days the bug will be fixed. I need to send my feedback to Apple.

I had the 9/1 Badge on my 8Plus on iOS 11.4.1. Just updated to the latest beta and now its gone. I really hope I can still do it tomorrow. If not, I will have to downgrade tomorrow morning after I attempt a 50 minute walk, and re-walk.

I am just going to do a 50 min outdoor walk tomorrow and hopefully they will roll back the award once the bug is fixed. We all should report this! I am going to.
We should be getting reports out of Asia soon about people on iOS 12 getting the badge. My guess is the watch knows and will keep track of it and force it into the activity app.

Actually New Zealand is ahead and western Australia is too.

Forgot that is was a full 50 minute run. Most of the Challenges have been short/easy. I have a bruised MCL (self diagnosed) and was only planning on a shorter (5M/8K). Looks like I will have to suck it up and run a little farther/longer/slower. Will test out my new brace too.

Good luck, wish you the best.

According to those on reddit with watchOS4 and iOS 12, they are getting the completion notification on their watch after the workout, but nothing on the phone. That does give me some hope that once the bug is fixed, it will appear.

I completed my workout today. Nothing happened. Lesson learned. I will not install beta next year. My fault.

Just completed a one hour outdoor run and no Badge.

Sent a BR trough Feedback Assistant. I think Public Beta has this also so send feedback.

I'm on 12/4 and didn't receive anything on my Watch.

There goes my small amount of hope. I’ve already submitted in Feedback, I will again after completing it.
