Try that first. And maybe try disabling one or both of the others afterwards. Now my settings are this, should I activate the "Recreate" setting? The others, are ok like this?
Rebooting fixed it. WOD is 6.3.19 on both my phone and AW.Did you try what I suggested to @Buadhai : checking the watch app is up to date, rebooting etc?
Glad that rebooting helped! 👍Rebooting fixed it. WOD is 6.3.19 on both my phone and AW.
As I said in the original post, rebooting worked. What I'm really asking is if there's something I could have done to preserve the workout so far? Or, in that situation is the workout just lost? Are you sure that the WOD watch app is v6.3.19? Apple often don’t update it with the iPhone app.
To check go to Settings/ More in the watch app. If it is not up to date then update it by using the App Store on the watch.
If it is up to date then please try rebooting the watch as that often fixes action button problems.
No workout should be lost. Even if you reboot the watch without ending the workout then the app should have preserved it and recovered it when the watch app is next started. As I said in the original post, rebooting worked. On the live workout topic, one rare occasion that I've reverted to the native workout app is treadmill. So many treadmills have a convenient place to stick a phone, I've found I like glancing at the iphone live activities display instead of looking at the watch while running treadmill. Not a huge deal for me at all, but wanted to mention it when I noticed live activities is apparently high on your list. I could also see a once in a blue moon scenario where I'd use the live activities for cycling so that will be a cool addition (99% of the time I use a bike computer but I could see a scenario on a borrowed bike or out of town traveling without a full setup where WOD live activities with a map displayed would be great, or even on a stationary bike where WOD live activities for HR/time/etc would be a cool addition). cheersI will see what happens in September / October because the hardware announcements often change my plans. Currently the most requested feature not in the next version is the ability to show live workout information on the iPhone (mainly for use by cyclists who mount the iPhone on their handlebars). I may also extend that to allow the app work without an Apple Watch, which would open up a whole new market of potential users.
So if nothing else changes by the time I have handled the hardware releases then that will be top of my to-do list. However it looks a big year for both iPhone and Apple Watch hardware so it may take a few months to deal with whatever is announced.
