What’s a good way to get a shot of the moon without having a tripod? This is with my 17 Pro but it seems meh to me.

Thank you. Loving the shots the Air can capture with the excellent single camera. just lacking the ultra wide and the telephoto lens.
I use the bright photographic style with the tone and colour turned up for more lively photos that pop. Any further editing is just done with the tools in the stock photos app.
A wider shot of one I posted on the last page that I really like. Autumn colours and the morning sunlight through the trees 🍂

Every time a new generation of iPhones comes out, I upgrade my phone. I upgrade because of the cameras. And I upgraded this time mainly because of the telephoto camera upgrade (larger sensor). Since I've been upgrading every year, I know the difference from one year to the next is minimal, but I'd like to know what you all think of the 17 Pro/Max cameras, especially the telephoto lens. I haven't had time to play around with them yet. I really liked the 120mm (5x) Portrait Mode (16 Pro Max) and I saw that, hidden, there's an option to take a 5x Portrait using pinch zoom.
My 17 PM is great at takin telephoto shots!

Standard camera app, exposure all the way down otherwise the moon is to bright.
Very happy with the Camera performance of my 17 PM

I am SO happy with the 17PM camera! I’ve upgraded yearly starting with the 14PM and this is by far my favorite camera experience.
