In my opinion, any series of 12 phone are good to go for one more year without an upgrade.
It just depends on the person. Apple marketing is strong, and many people love using their phone to the point that new features really do matter.

I use my phone when I’m out or lying in bed, but not too extensively, so new features sound interesting, but I don’t upgrade every year or even every other year. It’s just not a priority.

The iPad, on the other hand, is a device I really use nowadays, and any new feature gets my attention and tempts me to upgrade. That device is my weakness, not the iPhone.

I have the iPhone 12, but my plan since I got it has been to go pro when the 13 came out, and pass my 64 gb 12 down to either my son or grandson.

I’ve never had a pro phone, but I want a display that is brighter outside (my 12 is nowhere near as bright as I feel like it should be outdoors), and I’d like to have the pro camera.

I had actually decided I wasn’t gonna, but with the camera improvements, and battery life, I’m really tempted. Worth it to make the jump from a 12 to a 13 pro?
lol and here I am not seeing the point in upgrading from my iPhone 8plus

Those of you who bought the iPhone 12/Mini/Pro: if you have not regretted getting this yet, you will. Apple did you a disservice selling you a phone with such limited battery capacity.

I'm still holding out for TouchID return and no-notch...seems maybe they won't appear until 2023.

At least w/the iP13 family: better battery runtimes, the better cameras, etc look to be a reasonable upgrade.
