Not really my thing, I've not the first clue about how to do something like that?
In all honesty, the home button has been doing my head in for a fair while, having to press 9 times before anything happens, and using the assist thing as an alternative is just a pain in the arse, so it's just speeded it up for me. Plus I hate the EE network and Orange/T Mobile with a passion since they've all joined forces to create the worst network on the planet and ruin my signal that had been OK for 15 years. So.... time for a change, maybe?

I'm guessing this 7.0.2 update doesn't address any of the problems the iP4 has encountered, and only the 2 things listed in the pic above?

Yeah I don't think it fixed much, I installed it on an iPhone 4 and it's still not nearly as fast as the 4S

About the home button, wow I know how you feel, I suffered from the same thing on my iPhone 4 and it really is annoying..
I'm a bit of a technic person so I just took it on myself to replace the button by myself, it cost me 2$ and about an hour.
It was well worth it, works like a charm now.

But yeah I say go ahead and upgrade your phone~ it seems it's time to do so!

I think my biggest gripe with the networks is the fact that it is now the norm to get hitched up with 18 month and 24 month contracts, whereby in the good old days, it was always just 12 month contracts....

Fine, if you don't join a network like Orange who sold their greedy souls to the devil that is EE, and you have no choice in it, but.... it wouldn't be so bad, if Apple made the home buttons to actually last more than 12 months. It would be easier.

But to tie you into a contract whereby the phones don't last that long, because this home button problem is very common, and it certainly kicks in long before the 24 months are up

Can anyone tell me why when some contacts call me you get the 'answer' or 'decline' button at bottom and when some others call I get the 'slide to answer' button and not the 2 separate ones under the remind me stuff?

Been bugging me for weeks but forgot to ask why and what the hell?? And has anyone else noticed it??

The phone application responds differently depending on the status of your phone being locked, or unlocked. It also will respond differently in do not disturb mode versus normal mode, and if the caller is on your Address book or contact list.

To get the ANswer and Decline button, you need to have your phone unlocked, the slide to answer shows up when people call when your phone is locked.
