Would Apple replace this?

If it's a new phone, I'd definitely ask them to - it may only be a tiny speck but I know I'd find it very annoying.
The fact that it looks like dust stuck under the glass and the glass is bonded to the screen means it must have been done during manufacturing so they should replace it as a defect

Yeah it's dust they will replace it for free but you should do it before the 30 days because you will get a new phone not a refurbished

Unfortunately the nearest store is a two and a half hour drive one way traffic permitting.
I got the 4S from Belfast. It's out in the republic of Ireland on the 28th. I might give Apple a call after the 28th and see what they say.
If they are willing to replace it I'd just pay the 29 advance replacement fee and get the new phone shipped first.
It's probably that much driving up to Belfast, with the tolls, fuel and parking.

Yes, next time you're around they'll probably swap it out. Or call Apple and maybe they'll ship you a refurb--you never know.

No mine has a green tint. Not to be confused with what you see in the photos here, thy are the 4 green camera tint under fluro lighting.
As you saw in my threat - I am on the same boat, exept my screen has perfect cool white balance and I am confused to go for replacement if the next one will be with worse issues..
I haven't yet. I'm wondering if I should wait to do it just before the warranty runs out.
It's just that I hate the gamma on this screen. It's to low, I'd say it's around 1.8 instead of 2.2 which is what my old 4 had.

.........on topic, yes they will replace. The apple store in the states opened 4 iPad 2's to get me one w/o dust under the screen. The genius said it must have been a bad run at the factory because he kept pulling them from the same batch.
