The first was the best. It set a precedent for movie makers and brought some really cool filming techniques. It was good in the same sense the first Bourne movie was good: You were on Neo's side as he tried to come to grips with who he was and what he could do. The other two movies (in both franchises) were just action, fights, action, another fight, some clichéd dialogue, another fight..

The second one was passable as a movie. The third I didn't even watch the whole thing. And the ending was awful.

TV series? No thanks.
