yeah the thing is i already have a macbook pro and an iphone 4 lol

even with 125 dollars off, 394 is still a hefty spend on something

Do you have to spend it by a certain time? If nothing is really "Wow'ing" you, you should wait? Or get a case for you MBP or something at the Apple Store. I just got a Thule one for $49.95 and it's a beast.

I would also suggest waiting, or getting a pair of good headphones. Dr. Dre's tend to be considered overpriced. There are headphones that are much more worth your value for the same price.

What type of music do you listen to? Do you want a natural sounding set, or something that really pushes the bass? It comes down to user preference. As a music composer, I obviously prefer the natural sounding set.

stupid question, but how are you getting a $125 discount?

i would get an ipad 2 as well. the way i have my wireless data backup setup is via external HDD hooked up to airport extreme base. so if any of the components go south, i'll at least have the other one functional.

the best heapdhones ive ever used are the ones that come with ipods LOL so anything really is better. the dr.dres seem nice. though still a little expensive even with a discount. so ive decided the time capsule or ipad. both have there purposes, but i have amacbook pro and iphone 4 already, but also already have a WD 500gb portable harddrive, though 2TB of time capsule and wifi built in seems nice lol

it was a free little gift discount for my troubles with replacming my iphone 4 twice XD. my concern with the ipad 2 is even with a discount, its still epensive and only 16gb for the cheapest one. also i have a iphone 4 and a macbook pro, so im having trouble seeing where it might come in handy youknow? lol

Are you in need of a router and external drive? I have to agree, I doubt you will use iPad much, seeing how you own the MacBook and iPhone. Then again, you could always get the iPad, then sell it.

I would just determine if you are going to use the iPad enough to warrant $400 to you

Are you tight on money, would you rather use $400 for something else, does it not matter?

If you want to try it out, you always have 14 days to return it if it's not something you would use.

oh yeah i forgot about the 14 day thing. does that also apply online and is there any "fees" in returning it?

Sounds like you dont need either. Any possibility that they can give you a gift card rather than forcing you to buy something soon?

yes it applies online, though i'm not sure if you buy online, i know you can return online (ship back), but i'm not sure if they allow you to take it back to a store.

No, there are no fees.

discount doesnt work for gift cards unfortunately.

i guess i have the option to buy "nothing" but, i want to get something cause when was the last time u ever see "sales" on the apple store right? lol

so i can buy say the ipad online, and if i hate it or find it not worth the investment, as long as im under 14 days, i cna ship it back and get a full refund?

correct... i think you have to call apple and tell them you want to do a return, i don't think that you can just ship it back and expect them to know what to do with it, but yes.
