To those who have Mac computers and iPhones, if you didn't have a Mac what would you do with your iphone?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

I built my own "pcs" for 15+ years. I now have 2 mac minis and one macbook air. I will soon have an iphone after 2 years with a problematic HTC Thunderbolt. :)

I had Macs years before my first iPhone. So, I'd have to say, I'd keep my iPhone.

After I got my first iPhone (4) I felt it somewhat improper to have to sync it with a Windows PC so I got an iMac.

Now I have more Apple products then I care to admit.

Have owned PC all my life up til a few weeks ago when I converted to a MacBook Pro. I now own all Apple products, never goin back!

Well yeah, the only big advantage of using an iPhone with a Mac is iPhoto. I have a Mac but iPhoto isn't even that big of a deal.

I have two macs but they only do Windows 7 Pro via BootCamp. Can not remember the last time I booted them into iOS.:p

What's the point of having a Mac then...?

I've never owned a Mac but I have had experience with each iPhone since their release and have owned them since the 3GS came out in 2009. The iPhone sync just fine to Windows PCs.

For the hardware. My company runs on Office, Quickbooks Pro and AutoCAD and iOS does not cut it.

On a daily basis, I use two Mac's, 1 windows 7 pc, and 2 linux computers.

Been using my iPhone regardless.

To me, each OS has pro's and con's. So I use them all to get the best that I need.

Exactly the same thing I'm currently doing with it. Plenty of people use the iPhone without a Mac.

The point is always highly subjective, regardless of topic. Don't just assume that your point is everyone else's point. It's not uncommon for people to say that their MBP is the best Windows laptop they've owned.

Which, if you're only running windows on, you're massively overpaying for.
Also subjective.

Hmm, what's the point from your point of view then? I could see why this wouldn't make sense to some....

To me personally it seems like a lot of money for mediocre results. But my opinion carries little weight because I'm not educated in that subject to see the pros.

I was a Mac user before I ever got an iPhone (or a smartphone in general). Although I did have two iPods synced with a PC. I don't plan on ever going back to Windows though. Everything I need to do on a PC I can do with OS X (and please call the OS by its proper name! iOS is idevices; OS X is Mac).

Experience with iPod touch and iPad is why my wife and I switched to the Mac from the PC. Can't see moving away from the Mac now but I would keep my iPhone if I had to.

I had an HP laptop when I got my first iPhone in 2007. It was because of the iPhone that I bought my first MBP which was one week after buying the iPhone.
